• Plumb aromas, followed by a distinct buttermilk smell
• Tastes of strawberry and apple finish
• Smooth start in the the mouth but it bites a bit at the end.
• Mouth feel is not so much soft but slick.
• Like a sharp witted and slick girl who always seems to have something up her sleeve.  She is quick with answers that sometimes make you wonder if she is being serious….but when she calls you have no reason not to answer because after all, you don’t really mind spending time with her.

My wife Vanessa picked up this bottle of wine and we enjoyed it with some fantastic stuffed Peppers and Chiles with Mozzarella. We always enjoy a good Pinot Noir and this wine was pretty decent for the price of $9. $9 from Sprouts

• Aromas of cherry and flowers
• Simple, smooth and drinkable.
• Strawberry flavors.
• Refreshing mineral finish.
• This wine has many simple characteristics, is easy drinking and rather refreshing… but, like that hard to get to know friend of yours, it does have something more to offer if you take the time to get to know it.

I found this wine at Cost Plus World Market while searching for a new Pinot and was excited to find this bottle at such a great price. $10 Purchased from Cost Plus World Market

• Spicy aromas with cherries, slightly peppery.
• Very smooth and somewhat light.
• Not complicated or elaborate.
• Simple yet enjoyable…this wine is fine if you want to just sit down and have something to drink after work that tastes good but you don’t have to think about it too much.

• Woody aroma with a hint of pepper.
• Light flavors with not a lot going on.
• Watered down with a really short finish.
• Very thin and light…not much fun at all…sort of like spending your day off cleaning your house.

Beaujolais is a sub-region of the larger Burgandy region in France, and is known for producing fruit forward and light wines. Nearly all of the wine produced in the Beaujolais region is of the Gamay grape variety. This wine is very common in the US and can be found at almost any store. $8 from Trader Joes.

• Strawberry bouquet.
• Light and dry with moderate tannins.
• Easy to drink with a very short finish.
• Not complex, simple.
• This wine is like that song you hear and enjoy right away. After a while though it gets a little boring, because it’s not layered with intricacies that take multiple listens to hear. It still is nice to play once in a while though because it does have a good rhythm.

• Fruity bouquet.
• Jammy and sweet with some acidity on the front.
• Easy to drink
• Not too complex
• Like a French farmers daughter. Very simple, somewhat sweet and easy to dine with.
