<li>Peppery with a sweet hint of cherry.</li>
<li>Medium finish and smooth mouth feel.</li>
<li><strong><em>This wine was great with our meal as was expected from a Chianti, but after our food was done it seemed to fall flat a bit&#8230; like a great basketball player who is traded to a different team and never reaches the same level of productivity without their star point guard by their side setting them up for easy points game after game.</em></strong></li>

<li>Deep dark and rich colors.</li>
<li>Tastes dark fruit and spice with prune at the end.</li>
<li>Out of the bottle it was very harsh, but much nicer after decanting.</li>
<li><strong><em>This wine is like a crazy Uncle that says a lot of outlandish things&#8230; yet every once in a while, comes up with a comment that really displays a lot of wisdom.</em></strong></li>
</ul>

<li><em><strong>Really interesting wine with a great label&#8230;.but not really what you expected.  It is like picking up a video that you have never heard of before but the cover looked interesting.  While it may not have been the best movie, you stil enjoyed if because you got it on video and did not spend a fortune seeing it in the theater.</strong></em></li>

<li><em><strong>I was all excited about this wine since I was celebrating the end of my summer with friends&#8230;.Only problem&#8230;.the wine was not.  Drinking this wine was like getting all dressed up and excited for a date you have been waiting for&#8230;..only to have the girl call you 15 minutes before you leave to tell you she cannot make it.  Huge let down to say the least.</strong></em></li>

<td>This wine is a Tempranillo from the Rioja region of Spain. We explained a little about what a Rioja was in a previous review on <a href="http://www.justagrape.com/marques-de-riscal-spain-2003/">Marques De Riscal</a><br />
The bottle suggests opening it several hours prior to drinking and we would agree.  We found that with the use of a decanter that an hour was all it took to be ready. Decanting really smoothed out the wine and added a wonderful texture.  This wine has received many accolades from other reviewers and being that the price was only $10.00 we would agree with them.</td>
