Three Trophies
  • Strawberry and vanilla notes.
  • Fruity but not sweet.
  • Easy to drink but there is a lot to it.
  • This 47 pound rooster is definitely not a turkey. She is cheap enough to take out every weekend yet complex enough to keep you interested.

    If you read the small print on the label, the wine is bottled in California but is a product of France. At least that’s what it says on the bottle I have.

    But just so you know…the alcohol percentage in the 47 Pound Rooster is 13.5%

    Leanne, Thanks for the comment. Since most wines fall into the 12%-16% range we decided not to include that information in our reviews.

    What is the alcohol percentage of this bottle
    and others? Sometimes that matters.
